Motorhome Netherlands - Why we left after three days!

After taking a trip from Dover to Calais on the ferry in our motorhome (with our dogs for the first time) we arrived in The Netherlands feeling pretty exhausted. We’re travelling full-time by motorhome, living together as a family, travelling and learning about lots of different cultures, and ourselves! It’s a difficult lifestyle but it’s so rewarding in many ways! Our time in The Netherlands wasn’t great. We were exhausted, the heat, and our site were not ideal and so we went on a day out. Kinderdijk, the beautiful site of many windmills used for controlling the water level of the area. It should have been a lovely visit, but once again things didn’t go to plan! After three days we moved on to Germany! We don’t blame The Netherlands, it was just an unfortunate few days for us and we will definitely return to learn and experience more.
