Journées sportives des écoles de la Tradition 2026 : les sports

For over ten years now, the Martinerie school complex near Châteauroux—Saint-Michel school and Philibert-Vrau vocational school—has been transformed, for two days, into the stage for an event eagerly awaited by all: the district sports meet. This year again, more than 400 students from the nine secondary schools in the French district came together to share these moments of sport, camaraderie, and healthy competition, in a setting perfectly suited to the scale of this event. Nearly fifty members of the clergy were also present to support these days, including Father Peignot, superior of the French district, and Father de Villemagne, director of education, both of whom were also present at the previous edition. On the fields, the boys gave their all, driven by the desire to represent their schools in an atmosphere that was at once competitive, fraternal, and charitable. Under the watchful eyes of their abbots and brothers, each participant was able to showcase their talents, but above all, to experience a true spirit of teamwork and cohesion. The catering, meticulously provided by the vocational school, ensured that all these young athletes were fed. Under the guidance of Brother Jean-Rémy and Mr. Jean-Charles Poinsot, a culinary instructor, their hungry stomachs were more than satisfied. The awards ceremony, presided over by the Superior of the District, brought these days to a close in a spirit of shared joy and satisfaction.
