It was built in 1990 by Otis and has been left untouched until December 2020, when it got modernized. The interior of the car has been updated. All the fixtures as well as the logic, motor and drive have been replaced. Since Otis only produces their Gen2-motors and the high-rise machines, there are no more normal motors produced by Otis today. Therefore a Sassi motor has been bought. I revisited this lift a few months after recording the initial footage in order to record a full-speed car top ride because I did not get that footage on my first visit. At this moment I realized that the modernization happened and that I had recorded the old footage less than a month before the construction work began.
