🎶 I can hardly contain my excitement about #OnseBlues! 🎶 What happens when a passion for music, youth empowerment, and community come together? Something truly special. ✨ #OnseBlues is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between the Kalfiefees and the South African Blues Society — a project dedicated to empowering young people from diverse communities through the power of music. 🎸🎤 Led by Illimar Neitz, young musicians are being introduced to the world of Blues music, while I (Luna Paige) have the privilege of working with them on vocal melodies, lyrics, and storytelling. Together, these talented young artists are creating original, Blues-inspired music in Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa — raw, honest, and full of soul. ❤️ From Hawston’s dynamic young rap artists to the incredible Zwelihle Young Brothers and Die Gansies from Gansbaai — the talent is extraordinary, and the future is bright. ✨ Behind the scenes, Hester Finberg is tirelessly helping to create even more opportunities for these young people through access to courses, technical training, and long-term development initiatives.
