DIY Remote Blast Gates – The Update & FAQ | New Sizes, Power Options + Improvements

Never has one of my projects gained as much interest and feedback as the DIY Remote Blast Gate Valves. So much so that I decided to make this follow-up video to serve both as an FAQ and as an update on new features, functionality, and (most importantly) new sizes now available. The most common request I received was: “Please make a gate for my size system!” Based on your feedback and further testing, I’m excited to release three new sizes in addition to the original 4" (100 mm) version: New Sizes Available: 2.5" (61.5 mm, 63 mm, 63.5 mm) 5.0" (127 mm) 6.0" (153 mm) The 4.0" model has also been updated with several design improvements and refinements. I’ve also introduced AC-powered gates, so you’re no longer limited to running on batteries. Plus, there are new servo plates and servo arms to suit a wider range of motor types. Work will almost certainly continue on this project, but for now, a huge thank-you to everyone who has supported and shared feedback along the way! If you were one of the early adopters who purchased the original plans, please check your email. I’m sending out a free update coupon for the latest 4" files, as well as a 50% discount code for any of the new sizes. Thank you all for the incredible support, it’s been amazing to see these valves in workshops all over the world! 🙌 LINKS: You can now purchase 4" fully assembled versions of the manual ball gate valve (limited production run) https://www.barberspaddockwoodworking...
