Northern European Cup Formula Renault 2013 from Most Autodrom, 1st September 2013, Fortec Competition Formula Renault 2.0 with Corinna Kamper driving. Another eventful race for her, mid-pack for the start which usually means you are caught up in the chaos, ends only a few laps in this time, either a rear tyre cut down or suspension damage. With cars this close all the time she probably had contact a lot that isn't captured by the camera and wasn't large enough to knock the car off course initially. Eurocup Formula Renault was massively oversubscribed at this point, so there were two extra european championships that you could run the same cars in, NEC and ALPS. Even these grids were bordering on insane, well over 30 cars regularly on the track. This is a great circuit, in the hills of the Czech Republic, very challenging to drive and a pain to overtake on, the tarmac was chewed up, bumpy and had some huge chunks missing at points round the lap. We shared this race weekend with the European Truck racing series and every time they went on track they didn't exactly improve it. Some crazy moves, lots of action throughout. Started mid pack and ended, well, you'll see.
