Why HYROX is suddenly everywhere

HYROX is the fastest-growing fitness event in the world. From 650 people in a Hamburg hall in 2017, HYROX is now projected to hit 1.5 million participants and $270M in revenue in 2026. It's a growth story built on the back of social media, the rise of self-optimisation culture, and our modern craving for community. But it's also a story of shrewd business decisions — scaling slowly, creating a very distinct brand and deliberately counterpositioning against CrossFit. And the two founders (ex-Olympian Moritz Furste and events veteran Christian Toetzke) see it becoming an Olympic sport within the next decade. 00:00 - Introduction 01:19 - The founding story 04:13 - The HYROX business model 05:26 - The growth drivers 10:21 - What's next for HYROX?
