This isn’t a hit piece. There’s no drama farming here. A lot of this falls on me for ignoring red flags I already knew were there. I’m sharing this because I wish someone had told me this before I said yes. Touring is romanticized in the music industry — but the reality is very different when you’re not a headliner, not protected, and not set up to win.
