Welcome to the Opera with Sandra channel. I'm Sandra Harris, a lover of music and the performing arts. Over the last 15 years, I discovered my passion for opera and haven't stopped studying it since. During Covid I started writing a book about the history of opera. The purpose of this channel is to share my research with you, exploring the origins and evolution of this wonderful musical genre. To make your experience more complete, I will illustrate our story with musical examples. I dedicate this channel to my dear cousin Luis Guilherme Gutman, whose encouragement was fundamental in making this project a reality.
