4 Miners Died After Methane Explosion In Poland

Four miners died after two methane explosions in a coal mine in Pawlowice insouthern Poland. There is still no contact with the seven missing people, including mine rescuers. 21 people have already been hospitalized, many of them severely burned. One of the miners died after being transported to the Burn Treatment Center, three of them died on the spot. Doctors informed that the injured miners are in serious condition and that the burns were extensive, even to the 4th degree. The rescue operation continues, ambulances and a medical point are waiting for the wounded in front of the mine. The explosion took place after midnight at a level of 1000 meters underground. There was a secondary explosion during the rescue operation.
