i was interviewed on breakfast tv !

I was asked by GB News to come into the studio and talk about Durham’s reputation as an ‘Oxbridge reject’ university, and whether it really matters. I accepted the opportunity and used the platform to draw attention to Durham having the lowest intake of state school students in the UK, which in my opinion is much more important. I was also grilled on ‘cancel culture’ and student mental-health while on the panel. This was my first ever live TV appearance :) Please note: I don't endorse the political leanings of GB News but instead accepted the invitation to be interviewed so that I could challenge some of their views.
