Immersion dans la vie d'un rappeur chrétien

Hi, it's Alsène. A few months ago, I stumbled upon Christian rap in my newsfeed. I discovered a new musical world, with "Jesus" over heavy bass, and I was seriously surprised. There are truly a ton of artists in this gospel rap sphere, and I particularly noticed the profile of JD Imrah, an artist who practices "Evandrill," or drill as a means of evangelization. In concrete terms, he uses this genre as a tool to spread the message of Jesus Christ, with the goal of converting people. You might think, "Wow, that's so weird," because in France, drill immediately brings to mind Gazo, Ziak, or 1Plike140, with lyrics that aren't very Christian. But JD, before converting himself, was into this slightly darker lifestyle... In this video, we follow him to the studio, to his church, and even during evangelistic sessions on the street. Personally, I really enjoyed meeting him, even without sharing his faith. We were able to really chat calmly about the evolution of religious codes; it was interesting. Anyway, enough talking! I'll let you watch the video and tell me what you think in the comments (I read everything). Enjoy. PS: If there are any profiles or videos you'd like me to cover in this format, feel free to suggest them; it helps me a lot.
