EL LADO MÁS TIERNO DE CARPENTER | STARMAN (1984)

Welcome to a new installment of VIDEOCLUB GENESIS! Today we're slowing things down and leaving horror behind to revisit one of John Carpenter's most underrated and beautiful films: Starman (1984). After the commercial flop of The Thing, Carpenter radically changed direction to helm this gorgeous road movie where an alien takes the form of a woman's (Karen Allen) deceased husband. What begins as a desperate journey to Arizona to return to his planet becomes one of the purest and most moving love stories of 80s cinema, featuring a masterful Jeff Bridges who moves and speaks as if he'd just landed on Earth.
