HIV/AIDS prevalence in Busia Municipality - How truck drivers and sex workers spread HIV/AIDS
Truck drivers at Uganda's Busia border with Kenya have been singled out as the main agents in the spread of HIV/AIDS due to delays in clearance of trucks by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). The delays render many truck drivers idle and end up in lodges and Brothels, where they meet sex workers housed in semi-permanent houses to standard block rooms. Details in this special report
