Abandoned Secret Mt Nebo - UNCOVERED 9 GOLD MINES - The MOTHERLODE - Did the old timers find GOLD?
A Collab with @camcarteradventures we headed to Mt Nebo to explore 9 gold mines in a straight line. As you can see from the LiDAR map, it's very unusual. Did the old timers find gold? Must have to keep that many adits. I added a 1930 photo of the Mt Nebo hut. I'm unaware of its location. The drive in, I pass through the location of the old Toll Gate from the 1930s near the Walkabout Creek -! Enoggera Dam/ Reservoir entrance. I also found an amazing old farm/work machinery.
