Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India is rapidly building a world-class semiconductor ecosystem to strengthen technological self-reliance and position the country as a trusted global semiconductor hub. The inauguration of the CG Semi OSAT semiconductor plant in Sanand, Gujarat, marks another significant milestone in India's Semiconductor Mission and the nation's journey towards becoming a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing. The plant will manufacture semiconductor chips for automotive, consumer electronics and industrial applications, while creating new opportunities for India's young engineers and technology professionals.
