Gaan we in Limburg ontdekken wat er in een zwart gat zit?

It is one of the great mysteries in physics: the inside of a black hole. We can calculate what's inside, but we don't know for sure. Perhaps such a black hole is something else entirely: a wormhole to another universe, or the place where all your lost socks end up. Physicist Gideon Koekoek (Maastricht University) is working on the largest telescope ever to answer this question. And that telescope may be coming to our own little country. 00:00 What is the Einstein telescope? 00:29 Why are black holes important? 01:45 What are fake black holes? 02:25 What is a black hole? 03:55 What is inside a black hole? 05:40 How can we measure what is inside a black hole? 06:06 What are gravitational waves? 07:40 Difference between a real and a fake black hole 08:36 A new telescope in Limburg?
