Deck removal without sanding! Remember that you can have a new deck in just a few steps. For this transformation, we use the following products: Remover: NovoDeck Before beginning the removal, remove leaves and debris such as soil and other dirt. 1 – Wet the wood with water and spread NovoDeck using a nylon-bristle broom. 2 – Let it sit for 15 to 25 minutes and do not let the surface dry. If you notice it drying, wet it again. 3 – After the time has elapsed, scrub the surface with a nylon-bristle brush and rinse. Repeat the application if necessary. Neutralizer: ClariDeck 1 – Wet the wood with water and spread ClariDeck using a nylon-bristle broom. 2 – Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and do not let the surface dry. If you notice it drying, wet it again. 3 – After the time has elapsed, scrub the surface with a nylon bristle brush and rinse. Repeat the application if necessary. Tips: NovoDeck removes solvent-based enamels, stains, and building varnishes. When used, NovoDeck remover leaves the wood with a darker appearance, and its neutralizer, ClariDeck, cleans the surface and neutralizes NovoDeck residue. Remember that NovoDeck and ClariDeck must be applied with water. Even if you use a high-pressure washer, you must scrub the surface. When using NovoDeck and ClariDeck, avoid contact with metal parts or floors. We recommend protecting the surrounding area. Wait for the wood to dry for at least 48 hours before beginning the repainting process. Follow the label instructions and don't forget to wear the recommended PPE.
