Phil's Black and Red PBR
The PBR is one of my favorite chironomid pupa patterns. Its overall black and red coloration matches the predominant color of most chironomid pupa. This pattern has produced all over North America. If I am not sure which color to start with its always black and red and almost always a PBR.
