Color Theory : Mixing Dark Colors and the problem with Black Paint

Hey everyone, sorry for the long summer break. I have lots of new projects so I couldn't make a video earlier. Hope you like this one. Painting with dark colors is more challenging than we usually think. Creating dark colors is not about just using black paint. In fact, it is possible to paint black things without using any black paint at all. First I explain what is the common issue with black paint and why it is an issue. Then I explain how you can create your own black using dark transparent pigments and using the color wheel to your advantage. After that, I show how you can still add variety to black pigments by adding transparent colors. And finally I show how these informations transfer to mixing dark skin tones. šŸ–Œļø(◔◔◔)šŸŽØWant to start learning how to paint and draw realistically as the old masters did?
