Tie Dye Stenciled Fused Glass Project

In this video I will show how to stencil a tie-dye design onto sheet glass using a stencil, sheet glass, and glass powders. I will also show how I move the stenciled piece away from the work surface and into a fusing mold over a base piece of glass. The stencil used in this project is called Tie Dye by Americana Mixed Media, and I found it at Michael's in the paint area. The glass is all 96 COE (sheet glass by Spectrum & powder by Uroboros) and the molds being used in this video are by Creative Paradise. They are the 6" square, 12.5" x 5" rectangular and 8" round Patty Gray dam molds. In my projects I am just using two layers of sheet glass but you can build yours thicker if desired. Be sure to take the thickness into consideration when programming your kiln. The schedule I share at the end works well for me but always remember AKAD - All Kilns Are Different! :-)
