To celebrate the release of his EP, Bleu, and the music video for Bloqué, a song he first performed at the Olympia as the opening act for Burna Boy in October 2019, #SaysZ sat down with us for our #5-word interview. This was an opportunity for him to discuss his relationship with his homeland, the story behind his stage name, his influences, and his many experiences in the world of hip-hop, having started with rap but also working as a dancer and graffiti artist. Says'Z also talks about his vision of success, from his acclaimed cover of Drake's One Dance and the role of apps like TikTok, his inspirations, his meeting with #Gims, his EP Bleu and his new single Bloqué, as well as his future goals, which could see him release his first album in a few months.
