ELECCIÓN DE NUEVAS AUTORIDADES DE LA UNJ SE DESARROLLARÁ EN DOS ETAPAS

The new Organizing Committee of the National University of Jaén (UNJ), chaired by Dr. Abel Melchor García Bazán, held its first press conference, where it reported on the actions it is taking to advance the institutionalization process of the university. The committee stated that meetings have been held with faculty, students, administrative staff, and the Electoral Committee, to which they will offer support while respecting its autonomy. García Bazán indicated that they are considering holding the election of university authorities in two stages, with the issuance of credentials scheduled for October. He also reported that the committee is addressing the situation of the university cafeteria, for which it is gathering information through the Office of University Welfare, with the aim of making a prompt decision regarding this service.
