Starting from a dire situation with only 7,000 yen in earnings in the first month and on the verge of bankruptcy, a blog started out of desperation proved successful. Bookings began filling up after three months, and monthly sales surpassed 1 million yen after six months. This led to the opening of two more stores near Yokohama Station. Staffing was increased by seven, and eyelash and nail services were added. An e-commerce site was launched, sourcing products from Austria and South Korea (with no advertising, relying solely on word-of-mouth, achieving 500 members in six months). A rental conference room business was also added. During this process, numerous consultations poured in from individual salon owners nationwide, leading to the launch of specialized marketing and management consulting for individual salons. Individual salon owners who, like my former self, struggled with customer acquisition and sales, my advice transformed their salons, resulting in fully booked appointments and record-breaking sales. In 2016, I retired from managing my own salon and dedicated myself to the consulting business. I established the salon school®︎ "Master Salon Management Academy." Students come from all over Japan, as well as from overseas, including Australia. Monthly sales increased from 15,000 yen to 4 million yen. Three staff members were also hired. Achieved monthly sales of 2 million yen at a salon surrounded by rice paddies with only one train per hour. Moved the salon to a location 4 minutes from Omotesando and achieved a record monthly sales of 10 million yen. Opened a business in a 30-year-old apartment building. Monthly sales increased from 400,000 yen to 1 million yen. A salon that was previously unable to pay national health insurance premiums and was receiving reductions increased its monthly sales to 2.9 million yen. Monthly sales increased from 80,000 yen to 2.5 million yen in a town of 17,000 people. From a home-based salon with monthly sales of 130,000 yen, sales steadily increased, leading to the opening of a physical store and achieving monthly sales of 3.6 million yen.
