Diesels and Electrics - Mixed Running Session - OO Model Railway

A mostly freight running session but with a couple of passenger trains thrown into the mix. First off we have a couple of 'roarers' : class 85 on a container train and a class 81 on a travelling post office train (the class 85 body is from Bachmann and the 81 body is by Triang - both locos run on modified Lima chassis). Next a Hornby 86/4 heads a short freight while a Lima class 87 makes steady progress with a train loaded with steel coils. A class 90 with matching coaching stock weaves its way from the carriage sidings into the station. 47484 in GW150 livery drifts along with a dining special. An ARC class 59/1 follows with a train of bogie hopper wagons then 33008 'Eastleigh' in its retro green livery crosses over the main lines with an engineers train. A rare look at shunting in the West yard as Lima industrial diesel 'Alwyn' shunts the steel coil wagons to release the train loco (Lima class 87) which then re-attaches to continue its journey. Finally a step back in time to see NBL 11719 (repainted Triang) trundle along with some grain wagons for the nearby Glentunnock distillery.
