New Orbea Orca Aero – Faster, Lighter, More Aggressive

The Orbea Orca Aero 2025 is designed with one goal in mind: maximum speed. The frame uses Orbea’s OMX carbon layup, optimized for stiffness-to-weight ratio while maintaining aerodynamic shaping. Every tube has been profiled through computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing, especially the truncated airfoil down tube and seat tube, which cut drag while keeping weight low. Cabling is fully integrated thanks to the ICR system, creating a clean cockpit and smoother airflow across the bars and head tube. The geometry is aggressive, with a lower stack and longer reach compared to the standard Orca, putting the rider in a more aerodynamic position for racing and time trial efforts. Stiffness has been prioritized in the bottom bracket and chainstays, so when you put power down, nothing is lost. At the same time, the carbon layup in the seatpost and seat tube is tuned to absorb road vibration, giving just enough comfort for long days at speed. Component options range from Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and SRAM Red eTap AXS at the top end, to Ultegra and Force builds in the mid-range. Wheelsets are deep-section carbon rims designed to maximize aero gains, with tire clearance up to 30 millimeters for versatility. The range starts with the M30 LTD at €3,999 and goes up to the flagship M10 LTD and M11e LTD, both at €9,999. Sizes run from 47 to 60, and Orbea’s MyO customization program allows riders to fine-tune paint schemes and component choices. The Orca Aero is not just another race bike—it’s a weapon for criteriums, breakaways, and solo efforts against the wind.
