Devil's Bridge and incredible Waterfalls, near Aberystwyth Wales
The Devil's Bridge and waterfalls in the rain The Devil's Bridge is actually 3 bridges , the first being medievel, incredibly built over each other, to get across the ferocious River Mynach. The views from the nature trail are staggering and the path through the gorge the river has cut is amazing. Sights include the Punchbowl or Devil's Cauldron. There are viewing points and a Jacob's ladder of steep steps. On walking back towards the car park check out the old style AA phone box. Also, nearby is a fascinating arch by the roadside which used to be the entrance to the Hafod Estate Visiting tips Wear good shoes or boots - the steps and paths are very uneven. Take your time, it is worth taking it slowly to take in the views There is a car park with an exit very close to the entrances. There is a toilet and a cafe as well.
