National Train Day Railfanning Around Downriver Detroit! (Tons of Variety on The Rails!) - 5/9/2026

So on National Train Day this year, I decided to do none other than return to the downriver Detroit area for the first time in months to railfan at the many neat spots and junctions it has to see how much variety that could be seen in a single day, and man, just like last time, this was a huge success. Me and the guys who were with me at the time all managed to get a little bit of everything around here, consisting of CSX action, CN, NS, and even lots of CPKC action, especially around Delray junction when that place absolutely popped off when we got there lol.
