Primeras Flores Amarillas | El homenaje a Robe Iniesta que Plasencia nunca olvidará
May 16, 2026. Plasencia celebrated the first "Primeras Flores Amarillas" (First Yellow Flowers) festival, a tribute to Robe Iniesta on what would have been his 64th birthday. I was there to tell you about it. A vibrant street atmosphere, batucada drumming, live performances, and the afternoon concert at the main venue. An entire city immersed in the memory of one of the most important musicians in Spanish rock. The festival's name comes from a line in "Standby," one of Extremoduro's most beloved songs. And today, that line was everywhere in Plasencia: in the murals, on the lampposts, in the yellow flowers adorning the shops, and in the hands of those of us who queued to get in. A day that will not be forgotten. 📍 Plasencia, Extremadura 🎸 Primeras Flores Amarillas Festival — Tribute to Robe Iniesta 2026
