What Finn Mckenty Got Right, Versus What He Got Wrong on Metal

On episode 122 of Heavy Metal Philosophy we'll unpack the arguments made by Finn Mckenty about djent killing metal. Finn made a tweet claiming that djent killed metal and there aren't any larger than life rock stars anymore. He oddly held up Fred Durst as an example. He then went on to lament that bands are generic and don't want to offend anyone. After a bit of controversy on twitter Finn Mckenty went on to make a YouTube video explaining his position in more nuanced detail. In this video he made some interesting points.
