Part 1/2: Ultimate Mobile Chicken Coop We're replacing our laying flock of chickens this year, with a fresh new batch that we're hatching ourselves here on the Homestead. The goal for this new batch of egg layers, will be to have them be in a mobile coop that can be moved around the yard / pasture every couple of days, to keep them on fresh grass. It will need to have a coop area to keep them safe at night, and a nesting box for egg collection. The timeline for this build is taking much longer than originally planned, mostly due to weather, and limited availability of some of the build items. For this episode, filming started on 4/2/2020 and ended on 4/18/2020.
