All You Fascists Bound to Lose - reworked 80 year old Woody Guthrie song - Marc Nerenberg

I find it kind of astonishing that this 80 year old Woody Guthrie song, "All You Fascists Bound to Lose" (from 1944) is shockingly still relevant (or perhaps "relevant again"). I personally can't vote in the impending US election, but I can at least raise my voice in song from afar. This "reworked" version of Guthrie's old song is meant to meet this moment. I'm still holding my breath for the next few days, though. This particular arrangement took shape yesterday and today, the first two days of November 2024, in Montreal West, Québec. It's perfomed, using a mix of clawhammer style and thumb-lead two-finger picking, on a 1910 Whyte Laydie Banjo, strung with synthetic gut strings, and using the intervals of Open G tuning tuned down to the key of E.
