The FOREST Okyeman project is a transformative initiative that is sowing the seeds of change in Akyem Abuakwa. With funding from the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security, the United Nations in Ghana is implementing a project called "Fostering Reforestation, Environmental Sustainability, and Tourism in the Okyeman " (FOREST Okyeman) using human security approach to address critical gaps in the environment, health, and education sectors in the Okyeman.
