Under the Pump is a documentary produced to help patients and health practitioners understand the best treatment for heart failure. The documentary is offered in both consumer (4 min) and health practitioner (17min) versions, and is shot from the patient’s perspective. It follows patients from when they are first arrive in the emergency department at The Alfred, to their recovery in intensive care and the ward; through to rehabilitation at Caulfield Hospital and then their return to the community.
