Chainska Brassika Live @ BBC Maida Vale | Documentary

On 18th March 2019, Chainska Brassika entered the mighty BBC Maida Vale Studios to record a live session for @BBC Radio 1Xtra, under the commission of Sir David Rodigan MBE. This legendary studio has been used to record thousands of Classical, Pop, and Drama sessions from 1946 to present and is home of the BBC symphony orchestra. For this unique live session, Chainska’s ranks were fattened by additional Keyboard’s/Piano (Cyrus Richards of the Rasites) and Percussionists (Chad Pitt-Murphy and Zeb “Zeeroy” Abraham). Also joining the guys for a trailblazing feature, rapper and grime artist “Helms DNV” took to the mic for a one-off exclusive track, Big Boss. Set up in the renowned studio Maida Vale Studio 4; the boys recorded 4 tracks under the guidance of household producer Simon Askew and engineer George Thomas. The EP begins with the bands recent anthem 'Simple Things', which is followed by the earth trembling 'Big Boss feat. Helms DNV'. Then a rare cover, Junior Senior’s 'Move Your Feet', reminding everyone to dance and keep upful in these testing times, and concluded by the rip-roaring original 'Calm City'.
