Guideline 1: Rise before dawn and offer your prayer and meditation at a fixed hour, preferably completing them before sunrise. Have a separate place and seat for meditation. As far as possible, develop the habit of sitting in one and the same pose. Give special attention to purity of body and mind. From October 2017 to January 2018, three seminars on Heartfulness Meditation and spiritual awakening were held at Kanha Shantivanam, during which Daaji gave a set of ten inspirational talks on these Ten Maxims and Babuji's commentary. He takes our understanding to a new level and integrates the science of the maxims with modern research, explaining each concept in very simple, practical language. These are ground-breaking talks that offer deep insight for those who wish to understand the place of human beings in the cosmos, and who want to mould their living so as to live the Heartfulness Meditation Way. Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, otherwise referred to as our beloved Babuji, was a yogic scientist of such a high order that his original research into the vibratory patterns of Nature came from direct perception. In the 1940s, he put these findings into words in his book, Commentary on the Ten Maxims of Sahaj Marg. These maxims were a part of Babuji’s lifelong exploration of spirituality and spiritual practices which were a part of Sahaj Marg and heartfulness meditation assisted by yogic transmission meditation. This video describes the third principle of the ten maxims for daily living, as written by our beloved Babuji, that form an integral part of the Heartfulness Meditation movement. These maxims were a part of Babuji’s lifelong exploration of spirituality which was a part of Sahaj Marg and heartfulness meditation assisted by yogic transmission meditation. The first maxim for heartful living is “Rise before dawn and offer your prayer and meditation at a fixed hour, preferably completing them before sunrise.
