Pomfret residents still waiting for basic services
Residents of Pomfret, outside Vryburg, North West, are still waiting for services. This comes after the Land Claims Court ordered the Departments of Public Works, and Defence and Military Veterans, to provide basic services such as water, electricity and primary health care. The order comes after residents lodged a complaint that they are living in abject poverty, with the government not providing any services.
