Clichés literarios: MARY SUE

The Mary Sue is a cliché where the character is all-powerful and completely overpowered, possessing all the knowledge and skills needed to get out of any predicament. Besides being strong and intelligent, they are also attractive and sometimes even a millionaire. It's a terrible literary cliché, born in the dark plains of fanfiction several decades ago and repeated in countless artistic works, becoming a cliché in film, television, anime, and comics. This cliché, in its male version, is called a Gary Stu, and although many love this cliché, I hate it with all my heart. This video is a way for me to vent while I teach you a little about it, and we can all have some fun. If, like me, you're fed up with protagonists who have the entire script at their disposal and into whom you feel their author inserts themselves to fulfill their fantasies of being powerful, wealthy, and loved, then this video is perfect for us to rant together about this terrible cliché. IMPORTANT: This video is a re-edited and re-uploaded version from my previous channel, which I lost.
