Neon Streets: A Night Walk Through Shanghai's Nanjing Road | 4K 60fps

A night-time walk along the length of Nanjing Road, featuring the neon signage and historic department stores of Shanghai’s premier shopping district. This walk follows Nanjing Road after dark, starting from the People's Park end and heading toward the Bund. The route shows the high-density commercial landscape of the city, moving from the modern hubs near People's Square toward the historic architecture closer to the waterfront. The path heads east, passing under the massive LED screens and traditional neon signs of the century-old department stores. The route navigates through the constant flow of shoppers and the small electric sightseeing tram-things that service the area, crossing through the central plazas and continuing until the street narrows into the more historic stretch of East Nanjing Road near the Peace Hotel. I really wanted to record a video on Nanjing Street at night due to its incredibly different character vs the street during the day. The lighting is fantastic and I think it shows a very different side to the city. I don't know Shanghai all that well so I didn't get that many different places - but I was also only there for a couple of days. hopefully I can go back!
