The ray of sunshine you lost 40 and 45's arc is probably my favorite in the entirety of GFL. The story of 40 re-awakening the hope in depressed 45, giving her something to live for and ultimately sacrificing herself to save her - both physically from Parapluie and mentally from fatalism - is already touching enough... but then, there is also Deep Dive... and to top it off, the best song on the Echoes album. Instead of trying to surpass Clandestine Memory, I went for a song that complements it. CM is more of a dual 45&40's theme about the events of Deep Dive; this one, however, is purely UMP40's, telling the backstory of Butterfly Incident from her perspective. There are some nods towards my earlier theme of UMP45 (Strings). Also, some of you may have noticed me suddenly coming back from Udio to Suno. As I've mentioned all the way back in the description of Я иду за тобой, Udio is capable of producing more complicated and potentially more interesting tracks; however, sometimes its creations would just get _over_complicated and bulky with unnecessary detail. On the other hand, Suno songs, while somewhat simpler, are generally free of this burden and therefore are perceived as more elegant and finalized. So, after creating an early Udio version of this song and feeling like it wasn't good enough for 40x45, I resorted to the good old way. In the meantime, during my Udio adventures, Suno was fitted with valuable generation tools such as inpainting - so now its functions are much less inferior to Udio. And by the way, among them, there is one completely new module that will allow me to do some impressive cooking in the future...
