David Attenborough explores the world of trials 😂︱Cross Training Trials

This is a parody. I just have to say that up front because some viewers are really struggling with the concept. 😂 Despit the tongue-in-cheek approach, David Attenborough is a real life hero to us. Some of you will remember this vid... we tweaked it slightly and our club entered it into a short film comp run by our state government. Get into these trials training vids. Trials (specific) bikes are specially made high-tech machines. Very light, low seat height and lots of power. Second-hand models with monoshock rear suspension and front disc brake can be bought for around $1,400 - $2,500.Speed and other competitors are not factors likely to cause incidents, so the sport of trials remains very safe. Very few injuries are sustained due to the low speeds and "one at a time" use of sections by moto trials competitors. Learn to ride moto trials! In Australia about one thousand riders compete, - in Europe hundreds of thousands compete regularly. Trial riders compete in all sorts of weather conditions! Trials riding must be the best kept secret in the world of motorbikes. Visit your local moto-trials club and chat with some trials training fanatics today. They are usually single cylinder, liquid cooled engines, around 250cc capacity. Trials bikes have lots of ground clearance and suspension travel. Hydraulic disc brakes - front and rear. Competitors will ride over an obstacle course of boulders, streams, hill climbs, logs, drop offs, and nearly anything else they can find. Trials bikes are specially made high-tech machines. Trials tyres are super soft compound, and run tyre pressures of about 4-6 psi. They are very similar to the bikes ridden by world champion riders such as Toni Bou. Modern trials bikes are mostly manufactured in Europe by makes such as Gas Gas, Beta, Scorpa, Montesa and Sherco.And did you know that trials is the world's most popular participatory motorcycle sport? There are trials classes for everyone. Honda and Yamaha also manufacture modern trials bikes. Although new models cost around AU$8000 to $11,000, you don't need a new bike to start riding and enjoying yourself. Trials riders in the top classes attempt seemingly impossible obstacles, and in the process perform some of the most amazing skilled and trick riding - including air turns, bunny hops and bouncing the front and rear wheels during turns. Trial is not racing. Moto trials is the only motorcycling sport that you can compete in at "Masters Games" level! For some reason trials riding (or observed trials) is only big in Europe... elsewhere there are just a handful of trials clubs in each country such as Western Districts Trials club.
