Spending Quality Time with my German Shepherd Dog during her Final Days

In preparation for Tika's big departure across the Rainbow Bridge, we spent her final three weeks doing all the things we wanted to do (except swimming because the lake was still frozen at the end of May!) We created so many precious memories during those days! (Be sure to see her other videos and the links to Tika's THREE-PART story below). TIKA's 14.5 years of life on earth: 1/3/7 - 5/28/21. Her spirit lives forever and always in my heart. Tika lived with Degenerative Myelopathy (paralysis of the spine) for 2.5 years and was fully paralyzed in her hind legs; she used a wheelchair for her last two years. Tika was such a trooper, an inspiration and a shining light! And she continues to touch the lives of many. Tika is my soul dog and the biggest inspiration in my life. I am grateful for the profound love and bond that we have. I know that my Angel is with me forever and always, in spirit and love.
