¿La mafia de Marruecos controla el tráfico de cocaína en Europa? | Historias Vivas |Documental HD
In recent years, the Netherlands and Belgium have become major drug trafficking hubs in Europe. Almost 80% of the cocaine in Europe has passed through Rotterdam or Antwerp. This has given rise to a new phenomenon: the "Mocro Mafia," made up of people of Moroccan origin living in the Netherlands who are involved in organized crime. The gangs started by trafficking hashish from Morocco to the Netherlands. Now they use the same routes to transport cocaine, which is much more profitable. They obtain the drug from Latin American cartels and smuggle it into Europe. As a result, the "Mocro Mafia" has become one of the wealthiest criminal organizations in the world. In Antwerp alone, the trade generates around fifty billion euros, equivalent to 10% of the total Belgian state budget. The extremely violent gangs of the "Mocro Mafia" have unleashed a reign of terror: they murder lawyers, judges, journalists, and everyone else without hesitation. They have even threatened government ministers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Anyone who challenges their network is a potential target. Drug money is so deeply embedded in the economy that, according to some, Belgium and the Netherlands risk becoming narco-states. Authorities and police have taken this threat very seriously. Public anxiety increased even further after the gruesome discovery of a torture chamber in a shipping container, used by the gangs, as well as the murder of journalist Peter de Vries. We investigate the "Mocro Mafia," the new ultra-violent criminal organization that is shaking Europe. This documentary was produced by Sable Rouge and directed by Brando Baranzelli.
