This popular 80s/90s comedy focused on a large Liverpool family - the Boswells - who were trying to make their way through life in Margaret Thatcher’s Britain, with no visible means of support. The show’s theme tune, Home, was sung by members of the cast. It was released on BBC Records but failed to make the UK Singles Chart. All 7 series of Bread - 74 episodes, including 3 Christmas specials - aired on BBC One between 1 May 1986 to 3 November 1991.
