Hey, today's another non-repair, which I got myself into and was misled by the PCB descriptions :) Well, sometimes certain "symptoms" aren't symptoms, and a mental shortcut can lead us down a dead end of figuring out what the fault is in a given case - after all, I learned something again ;) A video for beginners, showing how to think and troubleshoot - as well as how to deduce what a given component is and what it's used for, and how to measure the capacitance of electrolytic capacitors with a multimeter or an RLC (LCR) tester.
