This recital took place in the 'Palau de la musica' in may 1999. Please note that this fabulous rendition was actually the last of the 6 'encore' that the divine Renée granted to her audience on that memorable occasion !! This was the first time Renée was confronting this utterly difficult and 'connaiseur' audience ... and you can see and hear their response to her !!! I remember vividly that hours after the end of the concert los 'aficcionados' continued to sing and shout like crazy in the streets aroud the house ... I hope that Renée will not blame me to share this unforgettable moment with all of you there !... she of course has a copy of the recording, and knowing her generosity and kindness, I feel pretty confident that she will graciously forgive me ...
