Non prendiamoci in giro | Michel Mudimbi | TEDxAscoliPiceno

We betray our own trust when we distance ourselves. We can split in two: the curious part and the rational part. When one stops wanting and the other stops listening, we lose trust. My trust remained high and helped me bear the weight of what I had to do, but when the 'had to' outweighed the 'wanted', I collapsed. I rebuilt it by going back to wanting and listening: I release a song a month, I expand my community, I do what I like, how and when I want. The collapse forced me to rebuild my trust. At 14, he began his love (and hate) affair with rap, and music in general, transcribing lyrics to learn to sing. He was in front of the TV, rewinding the VHS of the video for "The Real Slim Shady," trying to transcribe the phonetics of the lyrics so he could sing them. At 30, he broke free from the routine of his job as a mechanic to pursue his passion, demonstrating that the courage to take risks can lead to an extraordinary destiny. After a career of experimentation and challenges, he chose music full time, achieving his first success with "Supercalifrigida," finishing third at Sanremo Giovani, and, two years later, releasing the album "Miguel," produced with sounds created with his own voice. Mudimbi, born in 1986 in San Benedetto del Tronto, is the author of all his lyrics and also the creator of all his music videos. He had the courage to take risks because he had TRUST! He will share his experience, motivating young people to believe in themselves and the future.
