Wood Sculpture Innovation: The 'Sequoia Erosion' Method or T.R.E.E. Tree Ring Excavation Experiment
Here is a short film explaining a method of wood sculpture using the tree rings to guide the sanding process when depicting any particular object. The rings, being harder than the wood found between the rings, allow the artist to follow a natural groove as the sanding process developes. This is an A to Z tutorial documentary on the 'Sequoia Erosion' wood carving process.. We hope you enjoy the show. My songs : • Jack Adams - Tacit
