Ruining Players Games to Upgrade My Jet

I removed every upgrade from one of my jets and forced myself to earn it all back by shooting down other players. Every game where I get a kill lets me spin the wheel and unlock one upgrade, but if I die before getting a kill, I lose the last upgrade I earned.
