The obvious question arises – how can it be a flop at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia? The September 2025 premiere will be "The Producers." The protagonists – Broadway producer Max Białystok and tax collector Leo Bloom – realize they will only make money from the play when it… flops! They must find a sufficiently inappropriate title, director, and actors, as well as a way to produce the show without their own funds. In other words, go through all the stages of creating a stage work, but with the opposite result. Get to work! No one expected that... they would produce their first-ever superproduction!... Leading them to their doom. One thing is certain – the show strikes everyone, sparing no one. Before entering the theater, familiarize yourself with the film adaptation or consult a musical theater specialist, as any unprepared viewing may endanger your life or health. Mel Brooks' musical "The Producers" is based on his 1967 film of the same name. The film won an Oscar for Best Screenplay and two Golden Globes, and the musical itself won 12 Tony Awards! Another film adaptation was released in 2005.
